Janet Milner

Janet Milner is a Painter/Printmaker. She studied MA in Printmaking at Camberwell UAL

Janet has exhibited as a non-member in the RSA Summer Exhibition for several years and has also had work selected for many other prestigious exhibitions and art fairs, which include The RA Summer Show, The Sunday Times Watercolour exhibition, The Royal Society of Watercolour Open, Discerning Eye, National Original Print Exhibition, RE: The Masters Relief, RE: The Masters Monoprint, The South East Open, London Art Fair, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, Multiplied at Christies, London Original Print Fair, The Hepworth Print Fair, The Other Art Fair.

She explores gestural and accidental mark-making through the use of painterly printmaking techniques, enjoying the unpredictability of working this way and the sense of immediacy that it gives to her work.

Janet uses playful text-based and figurative themes to celebrate the everyday, these are records and observations of random subject matter that collide with her daily life.
