Stephanie Rubin

Stephanie trained at City & Guilds of London Art School and has a BA in Fine Art Sculpture.

Her work is inspired by working from life therefore drawing is an integral part of her practice. She demonstrates her own perspective by using traditional themes of portraiture and landscape as her starting point to explore ideas.

She has exhibited widely in Britain, also in Spain and Japan over the last 30 years. Her works have been presented at numerous venues including Artsway, Jerwood Space, Wellcome Collection, Bury Art Museum & Sculpture Collection, Danielle Arnaud Contemporary Art and Barcelona Centre of Contemporary Culture (CCCB).

She regularly exhibits with the Society of Portrait Sculptors, and is the recipient of The Lochbund Award 2023.
