Sue Jameson
Studied first in Carlisle and went on to Goldsmiths College.
She won a travelling scholarship to Italy and then completed an advanced course in printmaking at Central School of Art.
She has exhibited nationally and internationally including solo shows in London, U.S.A and Japan.
Sue Jameson’s inspiring engagement with the natural world was established as a child growing up in the Lake District.
Now living on the coast her recent paintings take inspiration from the sea.
She delights in observing the water and is fascinated by the constant lunar cycle of transient tides. The theme of her newest work is the changing interplay of moonlight and sunlight on the waters swelling and rippling surface.
